Description
Origin Drip Irrigation Systems
Introducing Origin Drip Irrigation Systems, the UK’s most popular watering system for hydroponics. This high-yielding, drip feed system is perfect for fuss-free feeding, ensuring your plants are healthy and thriving.
The Origin system uses a timer to drip nutrient solution into the pots at the same time every day, providing the perfect ratio of water and nutrients. This leads to better oxygen intake for the plant and bigger yields, producing healthier plants that give you larger crops.
The pump will oxygenate the nutrient solution and any run-off will be drained back to the tank, leading to a healthier root zone. This also means that there’s no risk of the roots rotting due to excess water.
With the Origin reservoir holding between 30 and 180 litres of nutrient solution, you won’t need to visit your plants every day. Relax in the knowledge that your plants receive excellent care while you choose the Origin system.
The Origin system is low maintenance, with minimal setup required. Simply set the timer and let the system do the rest. You can choose from a range of different setups, with pot sizes ranging from 6L to 25L, and systems accommodating anywhere from 4 to 20 plants. The Origin can be used with a range of media, including soil, clay pebbles, mixed media, and even stonewool and coco slabs with the Origin Duo Slab option.
Bigger yields
Automatic watering allows the plant to take up the perfect ratio of water and nutrients as they are fed little and often. This enhances the plant’s oxygen intake and results in healthier plants that produce larger yields.
Low maintenance
Once set-up, all you need to do is set the timer and you’re done. Your plants will be drip fed to your set feeding duration, so you know they’ll be thriving.
Flexibility
You can use a range of different set-ups with an Origin, with 6L, 11L, 18L and 25L pot sizes and systems available to accommodate anywhere from 4 to 20 plants. Origin works with soil, clay pebbles, mixed media, and has Duo Slab for stonewool and coco slabs.
GROWERS TIPS
Use House & Garden Drip Clean
Using a cleaning product like this helps to prevent dripper blockage
Use the correct dripper
- Clay pebbles = blue flood drippers. Flow rate = 40L/hour
- Soil, coco, mixed media and grow cubes = black arrow drippers. Flow rate = 2L/hour
Let the system do the mixing
After a nutrient change open the tap on the system and manually switch the pump on for a couple of minutes. To ensure even distribution, mix the nutrient solution thoroughly.
